All About Me

From as far back as I can remember, I’ve had a deep love for people and genuine connection. That passion led me to pursue my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Tarleton State University, where I also discovered my interest in mental health research and how it impacts people across the lifespan.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with families, children, teens, and adults throughout the DFW area in child advocacy centers, trauma services, and inpatient and outpatient settings. These experiences shaped not only my skills as a therapist but also my understanding of the many ways people show strength, even in difficult circumstances.

In therapy, I believe our relationship comes first. I know that trust and safety are the foundation for healing, and my role is to walk alongside you as we work through life’s challenges together. I specialize in trauma, depression, and anxiety, and I see myself as a guide or “compass” to help you navigate through uncertainty and toward healing, growth, and peace.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who loves time with my husband and family, an iced coffee in hand, and sunshine on my face when I’m outdoors. My own lived experiences have given me a personal understanding of what it means to start the healing journey, and I bring that perspective into the work I do.

Most importantly, my goal is simple: to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to find hope—even in the hardest moment.
